Woody's "This Land is Your Land" is the true spirit of American can-do.  Rebellious, standing together in support of each other's individual elan.  It's all right here for each to use in pursuit of our own dream.

"God Bless America", when belted out by Kate Smith, used to evoke a spirit American patriotism, but over-use has rendered it into a maudlin prayer  for guidance from above.
